The Native Farm Bill Coalition held its first Washington D.C. fly-in on February 6-9, 2023. Tribal leaders, Tribal food and agriculture experts, and Native youth traveled to Washington D.C. to uplift Indian Country priorities in the upcoming Farm Bill. News 9 based in Central Oklahoma highlighted the Native Farm Bill Coalition and the Cherokee Nation's role in the recent fly-in.
