The Native Farm Bill Coalition (NFBC or Coalition) welcomes the White House’s announcement of its September 2022 Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health. Particularly, the Coalition applauds President Joe Biden for his recognition of the disparate impacts that food insecurity has on American Indians and Alaska Natives (AI/AN) and the important role Tribal communities play in not only combating food insecurity, but providing meaningful, Tribally-derived solutions for their communities.
